15-member Gujarat team for Inter State Twenty20 declared

Ahmedabad, Apr 13 (UNI) Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) today announced a 15-member state team to play the Inter State Twenty20 tournaments from April 15 in Mumbai.

GCA Secretary Vikram Patel said the Gujarat team would play against Orissa, Railways, Karnataka and Punjab from April 15.

The 15-member Gujarat team includes Niraji Patel (Captain), Bhavik Thakkar (Vice Captain), Parthiv Patel (wk), Azhar Biakhia, Jay Desai, Sunny Patel, Viswajit Solanki, Rujul Bhatt, Asraf Makda, Siddharth Trivedi, Jagdish Patel, Kiran Tandel, Mohnish Parmar, Ahad Malik and Hitesh Majmudar.

GCA has also selected Vijay Patel as the Coach, Girish Mehta as the Manager and Yashpal Patel as trainer.

The team will leave for Mumbai tonight by Gujarat Mail, he added.
