1st Indo-Bangla Games start tomorrow at Kolkata

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Close to 500 athletes will be vying for top honours at the inaugral Indo-Bangladesh BANGLA Games to be held at Kolkata from tomorrow to February 28.

The sportspersons will compete in athletics, basketball, swimming, football, kho-kho, kabaddi, shooting and volleyball in the Games, which would be organised under the aegis of Olympic Council of Asia, Bangladesh Olympic Association and the Indian Olympic Association.

The Games would be conducted on the pattern of the first Indo-Pak Punjab Games in 2004.

UNI
