It was yet another fantastic day at the Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida as the 2nd day of the 2023 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships produced some enthralling action.

The second day of 2023 Asian Youth (Boys & Girls), and Junior (Men & Women) Weightlifting Championships started with Women's 45 Kg Youth and Junior category and ended with Men's 55 Kg weight category for Youth & Junior Section.

Medals were awarded for the first three winners in Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Total Weight Category.

World Record holder K Duong of Vietnam participated in the 55 Kg in Youth Section and won the Gold Medal. However, the Indian athletes won Silver Medal in the 55 Kg Junior Section and won both the Silver and Bronze Medals in the 55 Kg Youth Section.

Although there was no Indian winner in the girls' department, both youth and junior boys managed Silver medals. In the Youth department, Sanapathi Guru Naidu got the Silver medal, while Tomchou Meetei claimed the Bronze medal.

In the Junior department, Mukund Santosh Aher won the Silver medal and thus India finished with three medals on the 2nd day.
