2025 NFL Mock Draft: Cincinnati Bengals’ 3-Round Picks and Trades According to PFN Simulator

By Tanisha Chhabra

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a challenging 2024 season, finishing with a 9-8 record and missing the playoffs despite standout performances from quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase. With the team’s defense a major point of concern, the Bengals fired defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and are now focusing on rebuilding through the 2025 NFL Draft.

With approximately $53 million in cap space, the Bengals face the challenge of re-signing key players like Chase, Tee Higgins, and Trey Hendrickson. This could limit their ability to sign new talent in free agency, making the draft an essential opportunity to address team needs.

2025 NFL Mock Draft

In the 2025 NFL Draft, the Bengals prioritize offensive upgrades, according to the PFN simulator. In the first round, they selected Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, who is expected to be a top pick. Jeanty, a dynamic three-down back, could immediately improve Cincinnati's running game, providing Burrow with added support in the backfield. Though this selection may seem surprising, given the team’s defensive struggles, Jeanty’s potential impact on the offense makes him a valuable pick.

In the second round, the Bengals turned to tight end Harold Fannin Jr. from Bowling Green. Fannin is a versatile player who can operate more like a wide receiver than a traditional tight end, adding another dimension to the Bengals’ offense. With other tight ends already on the roster, Fannin could provide depth and flexibility to the team’s offensive strategy.

In the third round, the Bengals made a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, exchanging picks to land TCU wide receiver Jack Bech at pick 96. Bech, known for his size and possession skills, could compete for a spot in the Bengals’ receiving corps, joining other talented players like Iosivas.

While the Bengals’ draft strategy focuses on offense, some may question the decision to bypass defensive upgrades. Nevertheless, these selections could significantly strengthen Cincinnati’s offense for the 2025 season.
