New Delhi, Aug 4: Ludhiana will host the 29th Federation Cup football tournament from September 4 to 15.
The matches will be held at Guru Nanak Stadium, an All India Football Federation (AIFF) statement said.
Federation Cup is the country's premier knock-out tournament and the winners will get the ticket to take part in the AFC Cup 2008, Asia's second tier club tournament.

The tournament normally features sixteen best teams of the country, all NFL sides and the remaining second division NFL toppers.
This year's tournament ends a fortnight before the inaugural of the national professional league which starts on September 30.
