3 candidates for FIH President, Vidya Stokes in race for VP

Lausanne, Sep 25 (UNI) India's Vidya Stokes is running against incumbant Annabel Dillon of Singapore for the post of (woman) Vice President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

Meanwhile, three candidates including incumbant Els van Breda Vriesman are in the race for the post of President of the FIH election which is scheduled to be held on November 29 in Los Angeles.

Holland's Els van Breda Vriesman is FIH's President since 2001 and will contest for another four-year term.

The two other candidates are FIH Secretary General Peter Cohen (Aus) and Executive Board Member and President of the European Hockey Federation (EHF) Leandro Negre of Spain.

Furthermore, elections for the FIH Executive Board will also take place.
