37th inter frontier weapon sporting championship begins today

Hazaribagh, Feb 21 (UNI) The 37th inter-frontier weapon sporting championship organised by BSF began in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district today.

Over 700 jawans from 11 frontiers of the country will participate in the four-day championship having 7.62 MM medium machinegun and 81 MM mortar firing as main events.

Teams from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, South and North Bengal and Tripura will participate in the firing championship.
