3rd round of Gulf Dirt Track Championship in Nagpur tomorrow

Nagpur, Sep 8 (UNI) The third round of the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship for two-wheelers will be held in Nagpur tomorrow.

Sponsored by Gulf Oil Corporation, the event has attracted a total of 135 entries from all over the country, according to a release.

The participants will compete in seven categories, besides the local class for Maharashtra and a separate class for participants from Vidarbha, the release said.

The event is being organised by Sportscraft in association with Vidarbha Automotive Racing Association (VARA) under the aegis of the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India.

The first two rounds of the championship were held at Bhopal and Coimbatore, while the fourth round is scheduled to be held at Gurgaon on November 17 and 18, and the fifth at Mumbai on December 2 and 3, the release added.
