51st State School Games begin Nov 30

Kottayam, Nov 28 (UNI) The 51st State School Games will be held here from November 30 to December 5.

Mr V N Vasavan, MLA and other leaders told newsmen here today that more than 5,000 athletes from 14 districts would participate in the games.

While the games would be held from November 30 to December 2 at different schools, athletics would be held from December 3 to 5 at the Nehru Stadium, they said.

State Health Minister P K Sreemathy would distribute the prizes to the winners on December 2.

State Education Minister M A Baby would formally inaugurate the games on December 3.
