6th National Deaf Basketball from Thursday

Srinagar, Sep 7: More than 200 players and 30 officials from 13 state, including host Jammu and Kashmir, will take part in the sixth National Deaf Basketball Championship beginning here on Thursday, Sep 8.

"Over 200 players and 30 officials from all over the country are going participate in the event to be held at Tyndale Biscoe School ground here," Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) secretary Kiran Wattal told reporters.

He said besides the hosts, teams from Maharashtra, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will take part in the three-day event.
