7th All India BSNL TT begins from tomorrow

Shillong, Sep 24 (UNI) The 5-day 7th All India BSNL Table Tennis Tournament organised by BSNL North East-I Circle begins here from tomorrow at the U Tirot Sing Indoor stadium.

About 276 players are expected to take part in the tournament from 26 different BSNL circles spread across the country,BSNL sources said.

BSNL is hosting such a mega event for the first time in this circle after creation of BSNL.

The tournament will be conducted by 16 technical delegates nominated by the Corporate office from different circles, besides, services of the local referees will be utilised.

The game will be conducted in team events for men&women, open singles, doubles, mixed doubles and also for veteran singles.

Dr Niranjan Singh, Director(HRD) from BSNL corporate office, New Delhi, will be the Chief Guest of the opening function.

Meghalaya Transport Minister Deborah C Marak, will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony on September 29.
