London, Feb.17 (ANI): A C Milan officials will fly to Los Angeles tomorrow to try and close the deal for David Beckham.
Milan director Umberto Gandini and two high-powered lawyers are jetting to the States after the UEFA Cup tie with Werder Bremen in Germany, reports The Sun.
The Rossoneri trio hope to start talks with LA Galaxy chiefs on Thursday.
Milan remain hopeful they can strike a deal to land on-loan superstar Beckham, 33, permanently.
But Galaxy officials have so far been unimpressed with the Italians and their five million pound offer.
The Yanks want a figure closer to the 10 million pound mark. They are insisting that if this figure is not met, then Beckham must return to the Major League Soccer system in the United States. (ANI)
