Washington, July 16 : Cynthia Rodriguez, the estranged wife of Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, has asked her hubby's camp to confess whether it has made any attempts to have her followed or to listen in on her conversations to add fuel to their already intense divorce case.
According to a routine motion filed last week in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, Rodriguez is asking for any tape recordings, photographs, reports from investigators and all other evidence of shadowing "or other electronic surveillance conducted by [Alex] or others on [his] behalf," reports E! Online.
Alex has been linked in various tabloid reports to Madonna, though both have denied a romantic relationship. He has also been photographed out at night with a former Las Vegas stripper.
The "It Ain't Over Till It's Over" singer has adamantly denied sharing any more than a friendship with Rodriguez, calling it "extremely hurtful" to be pegged as an adulterer.
Cynthia filed for divorce last week after more than five years of marriage, citing her husband's alleged infidelity.
She wants their 12 million dollars waterfront mansion in Coral Gables, a luxury SUV, alimony and financial support for their two young daughters.
