Dhaka, Jun 14 (UNI) As the blame game continues amongst the Pakistan team and board members, former captain Aamir Sohail severely criticised the composition of the team that lost against India by a record margin.
''The squad announced for the series was a wrongly selected,'' said Sohail, who is on a commentary assignment here for the triangular tournament.
He said the absence of a regular spinner was hurting the Pakistan team and the selecters should have opted for a spinner in these conditions.
''The team was one spinner short and there is no point in playing with one spinner short particularly on the sub-continent track,'' he added.
He further added that not only in the bowling department but in batting too, the team was one batsman short and questioned the combination of the squad.
''The combination of the Pakistan team was wrong because the team was playing with just four regular batsman and here too one batsman was short,'' he observed.
''The important thing is the performance of the team and its victory,'' he added.
