Bengaluru, July 27: All eyes will be on India's rising star Aditi Ashok who will tee off at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open on Thursday (July 27).
Fresh from her top-10 finish at the recent Marathon Classic LPGA Tour event in Sylvania, Ohio, the 19-year-old is high on confidence and would like to carry that to the new-look Dundonald Golf Link course.

The star-studded field in Scotland includes the creme de la creme of LPGA like major champions Lydia Ko, Ariya Jutanugarn, Michele Wie and Suzann Petersen, Ladies European Tour No 1 Beth Allen, English sensation Charley Hull, home favourite Catriona Matthew and defending champion, Isabelle Boineau.
"Can't wait to play my first #LadiesScottishOpen," tweeted Aditi, who has been paired with Marathon Classic winner In Kyung Kim and Angela Stanford, who was tied-8th with the Bengaluru girl at Ohio.
Aditi's career-graph has gone up since her impressive debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics in August where she missed a medal by a whisker.
Back-to-back wins in New Delhi and Doha in November saw her stock raise further on the LPGA.
In the latest LPGA rankings released on Monday (July 24), she jumped seven places up to a career-high 86.
A good show in Scotland would further enhance her credentials on the Tour and Aditi was quick to admit that.
"It will be a good experience, obviously.
"It's such a special feeling to play in my first Ladies Scottish Open," said Aditi about the event which has been an annual feature on the Ladies European Tour since 2009.
