Aditya Mehta in Asian Snooker Championship quarterfinal
Doha, Apr 28: Indias number one snooker player Aditya Mehta blanked Mohd Mustafa Shehab of UAE 4-0 to enter the quarterfinals of the 28th Asian Snooker Championships here.
It was a challenging win for Aditya yesterday as Mustafa is a former Asian Indoor gold-medallist.
Aditya has won all the previous six matches too. His earlier wins have been against Pakistan, Kuwait, Syria, Qatar, Palestine and Taiwan in the tournament.
He will take on Saleh Mohammed of Afghanistan, the former World Championship runner-up, in the quarterfinals.
Over 40 players representing 15 countries have entered the contest currently underway here.
