The card for ONE 169: Atlanta continues to flourish. Two stalwarts of ONE Championship's flyweight MMA division will now collide in a rematch six years in the making when the promotion returns to U.S. soil later this year.
Former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Adriano Moraes and #3-ranked contender Danny Kingad will meet inside Atlanta, Georgia's State Farm Arena on Saturday, 9 November, as the pair continue to battle their way back to a shot at the World Title.

Moraes won his first ONE Flyweight MMA World Title at ONE: RISE OF THE KINGDOM in September 2014 over dangerous Filipino and former Kingad stablemate Geje Eustaquio with a second-round submission.
He went on to part ways with the gold before regaining it from Kairat Akhmetov at ONE: KINGS & CONQUERORS in August 2017 after a five-round scrap with the Kazakhstani star.
Directly afterward, Moraes crossed paths with Kingad at ONE: LEGENDS OF THE WORLD in November 2017 in Manila, Philippines. That night, Moraes stormed through the Filipino on the latter's home soil with another first-round submission victory.
That seemed to be the crossroads for the two stars. Moraes went on to have three battles with ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Demetrious Johnson, shocking the world in one of them by knocking out the MMA GOAT.
But Kingad had mixed results. Now he wants to get back on track and restore his hopes of a World Title opportunity. And that path includes exacting revenge on the Brazilian superstar.
Kingad has been a mainstay in the division's top five since arriving in the promotion in 2015. "The King" has earned 11 wins during this time, establishing himself as a true threat to all comers both below and above him.
In his last four fights, however, the Filipino has gone 2-2, and strengthening that run will help him qualify for a World Title opportunity. While he's gone 2-2 against top competition in his last four bouts, the 28-year-old wushu specialist remains a serious threat to claim the World Title.
He's continued to showcase his ability to shut down any run of momentum, which was evident at ONE Fight Night 7 in February 2023. There, he dismissed Eko Roni Saputra in a three-round masterclass to break the Indonesian's seven-fight winning streak.
But much like Kingad, Moraes is also looking to get back in the win column in strong fashion. And the winner of November's clash may inch closer to a shot at Johnson's gold. Adriano Moraes vs Danny Kingad 2 gets added to a promising looking card.
