Ajay Mittal wins gold in jr men double trap in Asian shooting

New Delhi, Dec 9 (UNI) India won a gold, a silver and a bronze on the fifth day in Asian Shooting Championship in Kuwait today.

Ajay Mittal won gold in the junior men double trap event with a score of 173 (133+40). Mohd Asab won silver in the same event with 168 (131+37). Akash Kumar won bronze in junior men 50m rifle prone event with a shot of 690.5 (590+100.5).

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore withdrew from the competition because of high fever, according to information received here.

With today's three medals, India's kitty has swell to 19 medals, including three gold.
