ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues reminded everybody why she's the queen of her division this past weekend at ONE Fight Night 20. And with her World Title defense now sealed, the Brazilian is planning for bigger and better things.
Rodrigues outclassed Cristina Morales in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 20 on Saturday, 9 March, defeating the Spaniard by unanimous decision to retain her crown inside Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

While toppling Morales was great in itself, the occasion meant a lot to Rodrigues for other reasons. Not only was it International Women's Day, but her infant son sat ringside for the victory. In fact, fighting isn't a solo effort for the 25-year-old anymore - it's a family affair.
"I'm extremely happy with this victory because I had my son with me and because it was my mom's birthday on 2 March, and we didn't get the chance to celebrate it because I was in camp preparing for the fight," Rodrigues said.
"This was a way to celebrate my mom's birthday. I'm very happy, I have no words to describe my happiness at this moment."
Since arriving in ONE Championship, Rodrigues has become something of a phenom in the atomweight Muay Thai realm. Her dominant run has placed her among the women at the top of the promotion. One of which includes ONE Women's Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Phetjeeja.
Rodrigues expects to meet the Thai phenom down the line, but she's also eager to make the jump to MMA to face three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex later this year.
The pair first met at ONE: A NEW BREED in August 2020 where the Brazilian stripped Stamp of her Muay Thai crown. And now she wants to take her MMA strap, too.
"I'm expecting to fight against Phetjeeja or Stamp Fairtex if she comes back to Muay Thai," Rodrigues said. "I'm anxious to make my MMA debut. I think it'll be a great opportunity to make a run in MMA. I'd like Stamp Fairtex in MMA."
