Since becoming a mother, ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues has had an insatiable thirst for gold. And after retaining her crown in her first defense, the Brazilian wants to add another to her collection.
Rodrigues meets ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Smilla Sundell at ONE Fight Night 14 on Saturday, September 30, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Sundell's World Title will be on the line in a battle that features two of the fiercest women in Muay Thai.

Rodrigues was last in action following a three-year hiatus from competition after giving birth to her first child. But the 25-year-old looked like she hadn't missed a beat when she defeated Janet Todd in March at ONE Fight Night 8.
The win was Rodrigues' second against elite competition in ONE Championship. After all, she captured the belt from Thai megastar and former two-sport World Champ Stamp Fairtex - and she looked sublime in doing so.
But with her position atop the ONE atomweight Muay Thai mountain solidified, Rodrigues desires a second World Title. So when the opportunity was presented, she jumped at the chance to snatch Sundell's gold. But Sundell is not easy pickings.
"The Hurricane" has thoroughly established herself in ONE Championship. She has dispatched Diandra Martin, Jackie Buntan, and Milana Bjelogrlic across Muay Thai and kickboxing to go 3-0 in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Sundell was originally set to rematch Buntan on 30 September. But the Filipino-American had to withdraw due to injury. And with that, Rodrigues saw an opportunity to swoop in and add another World Title to her resume.
Undoubtedly, this is the biggest bout in women's Muay Thai in recent times. Whoever walks away with the win will have her name etched into the history books. Can Sundell remain unblemished? Or will the strawweight division have a South American queen at its helm?
