Aman Sehrawat scripted history by becoming India's youngest medalist at the Olympics after securing a Bronze medal in 57kg freestyle Wrestling on Friday (August 9).
The Indian wrestler showed immense might against his Puerto Rican opponent and took India's medal tally to six at the Paris Olympics.

The 21-year-old, hailing from Haryana, followed his passion despite immense distress and has now become the saviour of the wrestling contingent. He beat Tokyo medalist Ravi Dahiya to qualify for the Olympics in Paris and had an outstanding run.
The youngster beat North Macedonia's Vladimir Egorov 10-0 in the pre-quarterfinals and then managed a 12-0 triumph over Albania's Zelimkhan Abakarov in the last eight. He was defeated in the semifinals by Rei Higuchi but showed his mettle with a fantastic 12-5 victory over Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz in the Bronze medal match.
Orphaned at the age of 11 years, Aman epitomizes grit and determination. A wrestler needs immense practice and har work to succeed at the highest level, and young Aman has done so at the Chhatrasal Academy in New Delhi to sharpen his skills. And during his leisure times, the player revealed that he watches a famous Hindi comedy show.
"Tarak Mehta dekhna achchha laagta hain (I like to watch Tarak Mehta)," Aman revealed when asked about his favourite show.
The Indian wrestler also had a talk with PM Narendra Modi after his magnificent win. The Indian prime minister told him as an inspiration to the country for his amazing achievement.
"Thank You Sir, I am very happy. It was the blessing of the people and your hard work along with SAI and others. I will try to the Gold at the 2028 Olympics. I will work very hard for that," Aman said to Modi.
It has been an amazing ride for Aman so early in his career. The 21-year-old will have numerous opportunities to reach even greater heights, and can definitely be one of the biggest wrestling stars in the future.
