Ameya, Vishnu and Shashank emerge winners

Coimbatore, July 29 (UNI) Mumbai racer Ameya Walavalkar came up with a sterling performance to outwit Chennai lad Aditya Patel to the post in a gruelling 25 lap race, lasting over 17 minutes, in round three of J K Tyre Max Karting Challenge here today.

Despite Aditya's best efforts, he was unable to get past Ameya.

Aditya's younger brother Akshaya finished third. It was the first time that two brothers were on the podium together in this category of motor racing at grassroots level.

Chennai youngster Vishnu Prasad of Team Amaron raced to a facile win in the Junior category. Vishnu's team mate Karan Goenka was placed second, while Parth Ghorpade of Team Mohites finished third.

Another Chennai lad Shashank Ravi Shankar of Team Amaron won the Mini Max class with a comprehensive win. The tussle for the second place between Arjun Maini and Surya Raghuraman was exciting. Arjun prevailed to finish second, while Surya settled for the third place.
