Anand to lock horns with Topalov in 6th round of Morelia-Linares

Morelia (Mexico), Feb 22 (UNI) World champion Viswanathan Anand will take on Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria in the sixth round of the Morelia-Linares chess tournament here today.

Anand, who has won all his black games in the event, will have black pieces for the last time in this category-21 even against Morelia.

The Indian ace currently heads the standings with 3.5 points after five rounds, half a point clear of Levon Aronian of Armenia.

Alxei Shirov of Spain, Magnus Carlsen of Norway and Topalov are in joint third spot while Peter Leko of Hungary, Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan and Ukranian Vassily Ivanchuk share the sixth spot with two points apiece.
