Anand to visit Tripura on June 3

Agartala, June 3: Indian Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand will pay a brief visit to Tripura tomorrow.

During his brief visit to the state, world champion Anand will launch computerised chess academy in some selected schools of Tripura, official sources said here today.

The NIIT Brand Ambassador Anand would reach Agartala in the afternoon and inaugurate the academy, that would be run by NIIT here.

He would also play the game with some school students and interact with the other chess loving people.

He will leave soon after this, officials added.
