Reese also contributed three steals and two blocks while hitting all seven of her free throws. Rookie Hailey Van Lith topped the Sky's scoring with 16 points, marking her highest in the league so far.

Camilla Cardoso, Kia Nurse, and Ariel Atkins also scored in double digits for Chicago. This win marked their first in the Commissioners Cup, bringing their record to 1-3 in Cup play and 3-7 overall. Meanwhile, Connecticut dropped to 1-3 in Cup play and 2-8 overall. Marina Mabrey led the Sun with 22 points but struggled with six turnovers.

Reese's First Triple-Double Leads Sky to Victory

The Phoenix Mercury secured a 76-70 win against the Las Vegas Aces. Satou Sabally was instrumental with 22 points and nine rebounds. Alyssa Thomas added an impressive 13 assists. The Aces were without star player Aja Wilson for a second game due to a concussion. Las Vegas committed 19 turnovers compared to Phoenix's 12.

Phoenix capitalised on these mistakes, scoring 22 points off turnovers against Las Vegas' 13. The Mercury's bench outperformed the Aces' reserves by scoring 28 points to their 14. Sami Whitcomb led Phoenix with four three-pointers, finishing with a total of 18 points.

Chelsea Gray led Las Vegas with a double-double of 20 points and ten rebounds. Jewell Lloyd added another 17 points, while Jackie Young contributed with 15 points for the Aces.

The Atlanta Dream dominated the Washington Mystics with an emphatic 89-56 win. Allisha Gray was outstanding, scoring a season-high of 32 points along with five rebounds and four assists. She shot efficiently at ten out of fourteen from the field and six out of nine from beyond the arc.

Atlanta Dream's Winning Streak Continues

Atlanta improved their record to eight wins and one loss when Gray scores at least fifteen points in a game this season. Te-Hina Paopao added to Atlanta’s three-point barrage by making four out of six attempts from deep, while Rhyne Howard hit four of eleven from long range.

Sonia Cintron was Washington's sole player reaching double figures, ending with ten points as they struggled against Atlanta’s relentless offense.
