Anju Bobby George to lead Indian challenge

{image-anju bobby george_13022008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Feb 13: Ace jumper Anju Bobby George will spearhead the 32-member Indian challenge in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships scheduled to be held in Doha from February 14 to 16th.

This Asian Championships will provide the athletes a chance to qualify for the World Indoor Athletics Championships to be held in Spain and also for the Beijing Olympics Games.The Indian squad, which includes 15 women, left here for Doha early this morning.
The Squad: Men: 4x100m relay: Aboobacker T, V B Bineesh, Vinay Chaudhary, Gurvinder Pal Singh Bhullar, Virinder Pankaj.

800m/1500m: Sajeesh Joseph, 800m: Rajeev Ramesan, 1500m: Hamza Chatholi.

3000m: Surender Singh, Sandeep Singh, High Jump: Hari Shankar Roy.

Long Jump: Krishna Kr Rane Triple Jump: Amarjeet Singh Shot Put: Satender Singh, Om Prakash Karhana Heptathlon: P J Vinod, Ram Niwas Women: 4x400m relay: Chitra K Soman, Sini Jose 400m,4x400m relay: Mandeep Kaur, Manjeet Kaur 4x400m relay, 60m: I Samatha Anthony, 4x400m relay, 60m, Pentathlon: V Leelavathi 800m/1500m: Sinimol Paulose, Sushma Devi, 3000m:P Shreedharan, Kavita Raut High Jump: Sahana Kumari Long Jump: Anju Bobby George, Prajusha M A, Triple Jump: Kulwinder Kaur, Pentathlon: J J Shoba.
