Anju, Navpreet in 13-member India team for World Athletics

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Celebrated long jumper Anju Booby George is among the 13-member Indian squad for the World Athletics Championship, to be held in Osaka (Japan) from August 25 to September 2.

According to Athletic Federation of India (AFI) secretary Lalit Bhanot, the team, comprising of four men and nine women, will leave for Osaka on August 20.

He said the selected athletes have qualified according to the laid down standards of IAAF for World Athletics Championships.
