In a gripping contest that had golf enthusiasts on the edge of their seats, Jaideep Sangwan and Raghav Puri propelled Ardee Masters to a thrilling 3-2 victory over SwingKKings during the sixth day of the Fourth Edition of the 'Lloyd Delhi Golf Club League powered by Radico’.

This win was critical, securing three essential points for their team. The day kicked off with an intense battle between Sterling Swingers and Tee Birds, setting the tone for the competition.

Although Sterling Swingers claimed the first game, the match saw both teams exchanging wins, leading to a nail-biting finish. Ultimately, the match concluded in a 3-3 draw, thanks to a decisive victory by Tee Birds in the penultimate game, only for Sterling Swingers to claw back and tie the score with a win in the final game.

In another match, Bharat Strikers demonstrated their dominance by winning four out of six games against Sudhir Power. Despite a strong start from Bharat Strikers, Sudhir Power managed to win the second game, sparking a potential comeback.

However, Bharat Strikers quickly regained control, securing a 4-2 victory and three vital points. This win underscored their strategic gameplay and cohesive team effort.

The league's format is designed to intensify competition and showcase team strategy. Played in a four-ball better ball Matchplay Format, the league consists of a Round Robin stage followed by a Knock-out stage.

During the Round Robin stage, each of the 24 teams, divided into four groups, fields six pairs (12 players) who compete in matches against another team's pairs. Points are awarded for each win, determining the teams that advance to the Knock-out stage.

The excitement culminates in the finals on 26th October 2024, where seven pairs (14 players) from the competing teams will vie for the championship.

Birdie Machine's overwhelming victory against Eagles & Birdies, with a score of 4-2, highlighted their excellent form and teamwork. Despite conceding the first game, Birdie Machine roared back to claim the next four games, demonstrating their prowess and determination.

Eagles & Birdies managed to win the final game, but it was merely a consolation as Birdie Machine secured three points for their commendable performance.

The Ardee Masters vs. SwingKKings match was notably the day's highlight, showcasing an exhilarating back-and-forth between the teams. SwingKKings initially took the lead, causing concern for Ardee Masters.

However, Sangwan and Puri's victory in the crucial third game sparked a remarkable comeback.
