Manila, Apr 4 (UNI) Two Indians- Arjun Singh and Himmat Singh Rai- made the cut while four others fell by the way side at the Asian Tour's Philippine Open Golf here today.
On a high scoring day the cut was declared at six over 150 and sixty -eight professionals moved into the money making round as Japan's Kodai Ichihara (66, 70) maintained his first round lead with a total of eight under 136 for the first two days.
Arjun (72, 74) aggregated two over 146 and was the highest placed Indian (tied 22nd) at the halfway mark. He shot birdies on the sixth and 14th and drop bogeys on the seventh, eighth, 10th and 13th in his second round.
Himmat (73,76) was tied 52nd at five over 149. His second round was highlighted by birdies on the third and fifth, bogeys on the 17th, second, seventh and eighth and a double bogey on the par four 13th.
Gurbaaz Mann (eight over 152), Digvijay Singh (nine over 153), Gaganjeet Bhullar (twelve over 156) and Harmeet Kahlon (fifteen over 159) missed the cut.
