Arjuna Award winner Kamineni Easwara Rao passes away

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Arjuna Award winner and Olympian Kamineni Eswara Rao (82) passed away at his residence in Batla Penumarru in Krishna district today.

Rao (80), who represented the country in 1956 (Melbourne) and 1960 (Rome) Olympics in weightlifting, had several national records to his credit.

He won the Arjuna Award in 1963.
