Artillerymen win Gold Cup

Guna, MP, Feb 7 (UNI) The Artillery Centre, Hyderabad, took the laurels by pipping the Bihar Regimental Centre, Danapur, 2-1 today in the final of the 34th All-India Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Gold Cup Hockey Tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here.

Artilleryman Balraj scored in the 17th minute while teammate Jenius Ikka made the score 2-0 in the 42nd minute of the second half. The Bihar Regimental Centre's solitary goal was scored by Saipran.
