London, Mar.18 : Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole's love-rat husband Ashley is reportedly unhappy that his wife is moving about town without her wedding ring, and if a report by The Mirror is to be believed, the Chelsea football star is going to buy her another ring, probably twice as expensive as the first one, to prove his love to her.

The first ring reportedly cost 80,000 pounds, and Cheryl has so far refused to wear her wedding ring to protest Ashley's decision to bed a blonde hairdresser.

"Ashley is crushed every time Cheryl refuses to wear the ring. He is desperate for them to move on and is keen to make her happy. He wants to buy a new ring, twice as blinging, and will easily spend 160,000 pounds. He wants Cheryl to have the choice of wearing something new if she can't face wearing the old one because it brings back bad memories," the tabloid quoted a source close to the Coles', as saying.
