Ashley's footie pal offers to buy his Surrey home

London, Mar.10 : Team mates of Chelsea love rat Ashley Cole have offered support to him, and one of them, Nicolas Anelka, has offered to buy the Coles' Surrey home, to ensure there is peace between Ashley and his wife Cheryl.

"Ashley told the lads that he was selling the house on Cheryl's orders. And rather than sympathy, he just got lots of interest in the mansion. Anelka is still renting in the area and is very keen. But as they are cutting out agents' fees, he would want a good price," The Sun quoted a Chelsea source, as saying.

Cole has managed to win his wife back after The Sun revealed he had cheated on her with hairdresser Aimee Walton.

But Cheryl laid down three rules - no lads' holidays or boys' nights out and that they move from their Oxshott home.

She suspects he played away on their marital bed.
