Asiad: Krishna Poonja wins bronze in discus throw

Guangzhou, Nov 23: India added another medal to its Asian Games medal tally by winning a bronze in women's discus throw on Tuesday, Nov 23.

India's Krishna Poonja won the bronze by throwing 61.94m. China's Yanfeng Li grabbed the gold by reaching 66.18m long and another Chinese athlete Aimin Song settled for silver with 64.04m.

Earlier on the day, Somdev Devvarman won gold in men's tennis singles event. It was India's first individual tennis gold in the history of Asian Games.
