Indian women's team wins gold in 4X400m relay

Guangzhou, Nov 26: India added another gold to its Asian Games 2010 medal tally by grabbing yellow metal in women's 4X400m relay on Friday, Nov 26.

India team of Manjeet Kaur, Sini Jose, Ashwini Akkunji and Mandeep Kaur won the gold by clocking 3min 29.02sec. India was the defending champions in 4X400m relay.

Kazakhstan settled for gold and the hosts, China won the bronze. It was India's third gold medal on the day, which helped India to climb to seventh position in medal tally.

Earlier on the day, India's men's and women's team won gold in khabadi event. Now India has a total of 61 medals with 13 gold, 15 silver and 33 bronze.
