India have registered a fantastic outing in Rowing at the ongoing Asian Games 2023. The Indian rowing contingent won 5 medals in the Hangzhou Asian Games, two more than the last edition in 2018.
It has been a superb display by India's rowers, who have made the nation proud by clinching five medals in rowing, a 66 per cent rise from the last edition.

India had a strong rowing department this year which comprised of previous winners like Sukhmeet Singh. The Indian rowing team won all of their events in the men's department, as it was disappointing from the women's team who failed to come away with any medals.
India's 5 medals from Rowing consist of three Bronzes and two Silvers. The Indian team bettered their last season Bronze to a Silver in the Lightweight Double Sculls, while they racked up medals in the Men's Four, Men's Eight and Men's Pair as well.
India managed a Gold medal in the Quadruple Sculls last time, whereas this time it was a Bronze medal. There was no medal for the Indian team in the Single Sculls this time around.
