Chinese Taipeiis defeated 26-25 by Indiato win the GOLD MEDAL, bringing India's total medal count to 100!
Indians Abhishek and Ojas have arrived at the shooting range and are all prepared to complete a one-two. India will undoubtedly win two medals! Ojas wins the tie by two points! He takes the Gold, while Abhishek settles for Silver.
Jyothi Surekha Vennam of India wins the gold medal in the women's individual compound archery competition.
At the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on Day 14, Aditi Swami of India won bronze in the women's individual compound archery competition.

With Satwik-Chirag becoming the first Indian Men's doubles duo to reach Asian Games final, we bid goodbye on that historic note as India's medal tally soars to 95 by the end of Day 13. 100 remains the target on Day 14 as the action begins as early as 6:10 AM IST with Archery Bronze Medal Match!

wHAT A WIN! The Indian pair decimates their familiar foes 21-17, 21-12 in the semifinal to qualify for the gold medal match. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have ensured the silver medal at least!

Satwik-Chirag continue picking points in tandem as Chia-Soh's short-lived fight in the first set feels like a distant memory!
Don't know if the Indian pair increased their intensity or Malaysians down theirs but Satwik-Chirag are running away with this one while Chia-Soh are busy defending the barrage of smashes on their court!
The Indian pair is not letting their rivals have any momentum early in the second game as they kill points quickly through smashes. Malaysians are on the back foot despite going down fighting in the first game!
Finally the first game wrapped up by the Indian pair. However, Chia-Soh came card at their rivals, fighting for every point as we witnessed some long rallies. Signs of things to come in the second game

From 10-10, the Indian pair takes seven points on the trot and with the momentum on their side, they should close the game soon!
It has been an even battle so far with the Malaysian pair matching the pace of their Indian rivals around the court!
Soh picks the first point of the match for Malaysia as he smashes Satwik's serve right into his body!

The toss is already done and both the players are warming up before we get down to business!

The men's doubles final is all set to start as both the pairs are out on the court!

We wait for the last live Indian action of the day and its the World No. 3 badminton pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty again! The Indian duo take on World No. 5 pair Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik of Malaysia. That's promise to be a gruelling encounter but won't start until the ongoing women's singles quarterfinal match is over! Expect at least half an hour time before the match gets underway. Will keep you posted!

That's medal number 95 and 22nd gold as India inch closer to a special century at the Asian Games 2023! For the men's hockey team this was the fourth gold medal at the Asian Games!

Full Time! Indian men's hockey team clinches the gold medal by defeating Japan 5-1 in the final! Harmanpreet Singh & side also qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 with that win!
60' Harmanpreet scores his second of the night through another PC to make it 5-1! Indian hockey team is soon to be the Asian Games 2023 champion!
54' We return to hockey action and two goals were scored while we were away. Tanaka scored what now appears to be a consolation goal after Abhishek scored the fourth Indian goal at the 48th minute!

What a show by Akaki Yamaguchi, as he defeated a well-decorated experienced wrestler by technical superiority. The Japanese was all over the Indian in the second round as he performed three takedowns while his swift moves were too much to handle for Bajrang. A sad end to the Indian's Asian Games 2023 campaign!

Not an ideal first round for Bajrang Punia, who was pushed out of the mat twice before a takedown. The Indian couldn't perform a single attack against the Japanese, he has three minutes left to turn it around!
The Men's 65kg bronze medal match is all set to begin with Bajrang Punia competing against Japan's Kaika Yamaguchi! He is the last Indian wrestler in action today!

No further goals in Q3 as the hooter goes off! But what a quarter it was for India, who scored twice in quick succession through the penalty corners. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh and Amit Rohidas did the needful! As the hockey match returns after a short break, we keep an eye on the wrestling mats as Bajrang Punia is soon to compete in his bronze medal match!

Official Result
The men's Bridge Team has done it again! After winning gold medal in their maiden appearance at 2018 Jakarta, they return to the quadrennial event to bag a silver medal!

36' India lead 3-0! Amit Rohidas with India's second penalty corner goal of the evening! Japan shot themselves on the foot by giving away a free penalty corner as they made a schoolboy error of hitting a long ball too high! Rohidas made them pay by scoring the goal from the second battery!

33' Harmanpreet doubles the lead from a penalty corner! He took the shot from the first battery after India put pressure on Japan through back-to-back three PCs!
