The Olympic gold medalist, Neeraj Chopra, after winning everything that is there to win in the javelin, has set his sights clear for the Asian Games 2023 and the Diamond League final, to be held in September-October.
Neeraj Chopra fell 15 cm short of clinching first place in Zurich Diamond League 2023 on Friday. This came a week after Chopra became the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships.

Chopra while addressing media after his Zurich outing said, "Everything is possible. My only aim is to repeat all the titles. It was a big challenge to win once but I feel it will be more challenging to repeat the feat." He added, "I will give my body some rest for some days and then look to train hard for the Asian Games 2023 and the Diamond League final."
In a very gratifying moment, Neeraj Chopra was seen sharing the Indian flag with the Pakistani Javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem during the Budapest World Athletics Championships. When asked about this incident, Chopra said, "Arshad made his country proud, I felt bad, I asked him about the Pakistan flag, the flag was found later, everybody was there so I asked Arshad to come and take a picture."
Talking about the importance that brands play in the lives of athletes, Chopra said, "The brand that I am working with supports me and cooperates with me on my schedules. I want brands to come up and support more and more athletes. They would focus on the game completely if their other needs are taken care of."
Neeraj Chopra was delighted to see the support that he had been getting from the Indians. He said, "It is great to see Indians coming with our flags to support us."
Chopra being the man that he is, concluded the press conference by saying, "I am sorry that I couldn't talk to the press after the World Athletics Championship as I had to play the Diamond League, right after that."
