Asian Games 2023 Schedule for October 8: The Hangzhou Asian Games 2023 will come to an end on Sunday (October 8) and the final piece of action will be taking place in the Chinese city along with the closing ceremony.
It has been an enthralling couple of weeks in Hangzhou which has seen India clinching 107 medals in the competition. The Indian athletes shattered the record books with 107 medals - 28 Gold, 38 Silver and 41 Bronze of them.

India won 12 medals on Saturday (October 7). India got 4 medals in the Archery early on, and then the Women's Kabaddi team got their Gold to make history, which was the 100th medal for the nation.
The men's Kabaddi Team also wrapped themselves with Gold after beating Iran, and so was the men's Cricket team, who were handed the Gold medal after the Final against Afghanistan got washed out.
In the men's doubles Badminton, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy made history as the dynamic pair won the Gold medal. Arjun Erigaisi, R Praggnanandhaa, D Gukesh, Vidit Gujrathi and Pentala Harikrishna starred as India won the Silver in Chess as well.

There is no athletes from India who is going to take part in the event on Sunday. All the events for the Indian participants are done and hence there will be no Indian in action on Sunday.
The only event for the Indian athletes will be to participate in the closing ceremony.
According to Chinese outlets, China's Premier Li Qiang will be in attendance for the closing ceremony of the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou. Chinese spokesperson Wang Wenbin said in a statement that Li Qiang will also host a welcoming banquet for other delegatories present in the event. The 'Digital Torchbearer' is set to perform in the ceremony.
