The Indian women's Kabaddi team provided the 100th medal for India. The women's Kabaddi team was assured of winning one, but they beat Chinese Taipei 26-25 in a nail-biting final to ensure Gold for the Indian team. This is also the 25th Gold for India in this edition of the Asian Games.

Earlier, it was a flurry of medals for India in the Archery events. 4 medals came in the Archery Compound events, both men's and women's combined.

Aditi Gopichand Swami won the Bronze, while Jyothi Surekha Vennam ended up winning the Gold for India. It was an all-India men's final, which saw Ojas Pravin Deotale clinch Gold, beating his Indian compatriot Abhishek Verma.
