Bhagyashri Jadhav Claims Second Consecutive Asian Para Games Silver

The silver medal continues Jadhav's strong record in the women's F34 shot put at the Asian Para Games. She also won silver in the same event at the previous edition in Hangzhou, held in 2023, making this her second consecutive silver medal in the discipline.

Her performance was part of India's strong showing in athletics on Wednesday. India also secured a podium sweep in the men's shot put F46 event, with Sachin Khilari winning gold, Mohammed Yasser taking silver and Praveen claiming bronze. Khilari produced a Games-record throw of 15.87 metres.
