Assam, Manipur emerge champions in Olympic round

Vijayawada, Jan 28 (UNI) Bishnu Ravinath of Assam and Rajpriya Devi of Manipur emerged as individual champions in the men and women sections respectively, in the Olympic round of the 27th Cherukuri Volga memorial Senior National Archery championship at Dr NTR University of health sciences here.

Ravinath scored 118 points out of 120 while Devi secured 102 points.

The second place in the men and women sections went to T H Sanatamba Singh of Manipur, who got 117 points, while Binuma Brahma of Assam scored 97 points.

Subash Chandra of Assam Rifles got 110 points in men section and Protiva Boro of Assam secured 95 in women section to finish third.
