Atwal finishes at tied 45th in Players Cup
Bridgeport, US, Jul 14 (UNI) Arjun Atwal leapt 20 spots on the leaderboard as he produced his best card of the week - a four-under 68 - to finish tied 45th in the one million dollar Nationwide Tour Players Cup here.
The Orlando-based Indian finally signed off with a total of one-under 287.
Atwal started the 10th tee starter on a bright note with birdies on the 12th and 14th before a bogey-birdie-bogey finish to his first nine left him one-under at the turn.
Atwal had two birdie-brace on the second and third and the eighth and ninth holes in the front nine but a bogey on the fourth did not allow him to finish at a better position.
Rick Price (72) of America lifted the title after beating compatriot Chris Anderson (71) in a playoff. Both the Americans had finished with totals of 15-under 273.
