New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) After firing two under 68 in the second round, ace golfer Arjun Atwal climbed from overnight tied 35th to tied 17th in the Xerox Classic in Rochester, New York.
His total now stands at three under 137. He trails the leader Brendon De Jonge of Zimbabwe by six strokes.
Atwal birdied the third, sixth, eighth and bogeyed the 14th.
Meanwhile at the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship being played in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeev Milkha Singh (73, 69) missed the cut by five strokes as he finished with a total of two over 142.
Jeev's second round of one under 69 was punctuated by birdies on the second, sixth, eighth, ninth, 10th, 15th, and bogeys on the first, 14th, 18th besides a double bogey on the seventh.
