Atwal climbs to 42nd at Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach (California), Feb 13 (PTI) Arjun Atwalcontinued his upward climb with a steady third round oftwo-under 70 that put him at three-under and in tied 42ndplace at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am today.

Steve Marino of the US shot a 71 and stayed in front at12-under, one clear of Jimmy Walker (63) after the end ofround three. Bryce Molder (68) was at 11-under and DA Points(71) at 10-under.

Atwal birdied the fourth, bogeyed the sixth and turned ineven par. On back nine, he birdied 14th and 17th and finishedat 70 at Spyglass Hill.
