Avani Prashanth And Aditi Ashok Achieve Tied-11th Finish At Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open In Spain

Avani Prashanth and Aditi Ashok both scored 1-under 71, finishing Tied-11th at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open. French golfer Nastasia Nadaud won the event with a score of 16-under-par.

Avani Prashanth and Aditi Ashok both shot 1-under 71 in the final round of the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España. This performance placed them tied for 11th, just outside the top 10. The event marked the conclusion of the season on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in Malaga, Spain.

France's Nastasia Nadaud emerged victorious with a remarkable score of 66 (-6), securing her win by four strokes. She began the day five shots behind leader Trichat Cheenglab but quickly climbed to the top at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf.

Indians Avani Prashanth and Aditi Ashok Tied-11th

Avani and Aditi played together on the final day, each recording a round of 71. Avani achieved four birdies against three bogeys, while Aditi had three birdies and two bogeys. Both players bogeyed the last hole, missing a chance to break into the top 10.

Nadaud's impressive performance included birdies on holes one and three, an eagle on four, and another birdie on five. After turning, she added three consecutive birdies on holes 10 to 12 before dropping shots on holes 13 and 16.

Nadaud maintained a four-shot lead going into the final hole and secured her first LET title with a par finish, ending at 16-under-par. Her caddie since September, LET player Michele Thomson, has been credited with boosting her confidence.

Australia's Kirsten Rudgeley finished second with a final round of 69 (-3). Four players shared third place: Australia's Kelsey Bennett, Germany's Olivia Cowan, Norway's Dorthea Forbrigd, and France's Perrine Delacour all ended at 11-under-par.

Order of Merit Standings

In other Indian performances, Hitaashee Bakshi finished tied for 43rd with a score of 69. Pranavi Urs was tied for 47th after shooting a round of 73, while Diksha Dagar ended tied for 71st with a score of 75.

The LET Order of Merit saw Singapore's Shannon Tan finishing as number one, leading England's Rhodes by 183.01 points. Nadaud moved from ninth to third in these rankings following her victory.
