Bangalore and Nangloi school record big wins qualify for supr league

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Government school, Nangloi (Delhi) and Army Sports Coy, Bangalore, chalked out huge victories over their respective rivals to qualify for the super league of the 25th Nehru Sub Junior boys hockey tournament here today.

Nangloi school handed a 10-0 thrashing to Gautam Public School, Kopargoan, Maharashtra while Bangalore routed Sadul Sports School, Bikaner (Rajasthan) 9-0.

In the third match of the day, Malwa Khalsa School, Ludhiana played a 2-2 draw with MP Lal Adarsh Inter College Faizabad (UP) 2-2.

In a one sided match, Nangloi boys toyed with their rivals and led 7-0 at half time. Abhishek (3), Naveen (2), Manish, Pradeep, Jatin, Sumit, Praveen (one each) were the scorers.

In the second match, Ansaleen Hemrom slammed three goals as Bangalore side led Bikaner 7-0 at lemon break.

Other scorers for Banglore were Jagannath Dodrai, David Dung (two each), Noel Dodray and K P Subbaiah(one each).

In the match between Malwa Khalsa School and Faizabad, Jatinder Singh scored a brace for Punjab team while Ranjan Katal and Vishwa Singh scored a goal each for Faizabad.
