Bangalore varsity overall champions

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 29 (UNI) Bangalore University emerged the overall championship in the Inter-University aquatic championship which concluded here today.

With an overall tally 133 points, Bangalore University emerged the champions in both the men's and women's sections.

Calicut University with 70 points placed second while Andhra University with 47 points finished third. Kerala University with 37 points finished fourth.

The lone record on the final day was registered by Prerana Jain of Bangalore University in the 100 M breast stroke. She clocked the best time of 01:22.03 seconds.
