''We have decided that AK Bansal will be retained as the coach for the Azlan Shah tournament while Ric Charlesworth will accompany the side as a consultant,'' Aslam Sher Khan told UNI in the evening.

Mr Sher Khan added the tournament that begins from May 8 in Kuala Lumpur will have a good blend of youth and experience.

''Importance of seniors can not be ruled out, therefore, the team will have a mix of of youth and experience,'' he added.

The development team which was decided by the sacked KPS Gill regime, however, was dismissed in the meeting held in the morning today.

In support of the new move that the selection committee has taken, Mr Khan said, ''For last eight years we have been hearing about development teams, but where are those teams.

''We can send such (development)teams, if we have them for coaching cum pertaining purposes to Europe and other places but for big tournaments senior team will go,'' he asserted.
