Nou Camp, May 17: Barcelona won the Spanish Primera Division crown second year on a trot after thrashing Real Valladolid 4-0 at Camp Nou in front of their home fans.
After a rather shaky start, Barca got a lucky break through when Valladolid player, Luis Prieto netted a own goal under no pressure in the 27th minute.
Pedro then put another goal for the home side four minutes later. Then, Lionel Messi sealed the win for Barca by scoring the third goal which made the Argentinian match Ronaldo's record of scoring 47 goals in all competition, 34 goals coming in the league.
Arch rivals Real Madrid who started their game one point below Barcelona, went a goal down against Malaga and just managed to equalize as they could not find the winning goal.
